Sauna therapy offers a passive exercise effect on the mind and body. Some benefits include detoxification, heart health, calorie burn, relaxation, anti-aging, weight loss, immune health, and pain relief.
Dress for the gym with a change of clothes. Wearing a t-shirt, shorts, leggings, crop top, or bathing suit is acceptable for sauna therapy.
Before sauna use: Drink a minimum of 8 oz. of water to prepare your body for an increase in core body temperature.
After sauna use: Rehydrate with at least 24 oz. of water or electrolyte drink.
