In the year 2020, as the world shut down, the adverse effects of chronic conditions like type 2 diabetes surged while healthcare systems worked to manage the coronavirus crisis.

When Nik Sweeney, founder of Amani Nicol Wellness, was compelled to temporarily close her wellness spa, she seized the opportunity to pivot towards prevention through the National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP).

Fast forward four years, and Amani Nicol Wellness has celebrated significant milestones:

2. Designated as a Medicare DPP Supplier

3. Recognized as a Medicaid Provider

5. Launched America’s first ASL DPP Cohort
